AN IDEAL STUDENT

AN IDEAL STUDENT:
“Reading makes a full man”, says Francis Beacon. So studies render perfection to a student. An ideal student is one who deems study to be his first priority. Colleges are opened, teachers are appointed, fees are paid, examinations are held only and only so that a student should study. And if a student does study, he does not merit the little.
A student is a very important member of a nation. He is the future of a people. Seeds are sown, watered, weeded and protected because they are the yield of tomorrow. Students are yield of a nation. Quaid-e-Azam, the great leader and father of Nation Pakistan, valued students priceless.
An ideal student is the one who knows the importance of his role in the development of his family and ultimately, of his country. He does not allow anybody or anything to divert him from his studies.
An ideal student is regular. He knows that regularity is Key to success. He is punctual. He is respectful to all his elders and especially to his teachers. His life is never unplanned or unbalanced. He has a time table for his studies as well as for other extracurricular activities.
“I respect faith but I love doubt which is the key to all knowledge”, says a sage. So question “why” opens new horizons of knowledge. Therefore, an ideal student does not hesitate in asking questions. A-biogenesis would still hold true if Pasture had not questioned or doubted his hypothesis.
“Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body” is the famous saying of Addison, a man of repute. So, an ideal student always studies other books also. This adds to his information.
“All work and no play Makes Jack a dull body” Hence, an ideal student keeps a balance between studies and sports, prayers and family time.
Above all, an ideal student values time as he knows that time is life. Seconds become minutes, minutes become hours, hours days, days months and months years. One who wastes time, wastes a part of his life. He stays behind those of his competitors who have wasted no time.
In short, an ideal student is the Crux of a nation, the priceless diamond, the crown of Nation.
